From 19-20 October 2016 tourism representatives will convene for the 9th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum (BSTF) in Pärnu / Estonia. The international convention will be hosted by the City of Pärnu and University of Tartu, Pärnu Colleg in cooperation with the Policy Area Tourism in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Board and together with a group of like-minded partners.
The 9th BSTF will focus on seasonality and sustainability. Improvements and development potentials in the Baltic Sea region under the dedicated themes will be discussed by international tourism experts, both from the political-strategic level and the operational-private sector. An adopted line-up of presentations, panels and workshops will secure two interesting days for the participants. In addition, pre- and post-convention tours will provide an insight on the development of tourism offers and services in Pärnu and the surrounding area.
Currently the organisers develop the draft schedule for both conference days. If you have topics and/or best practices regarding seasonality and sustainability in or beyond the Baltic Sea region that could contribute to the conference in a meaningful way, we would appreciate if you could get in contact with the organising team. Registration for the forum will open in the middle of July 2016.
