Registration is now open for the 9th BSTF 2016 in Pärnu/Estonia

The registration for the 9th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum is now open from 13th of July till 13th of October 2016. Participants are asked to register at their earliest convenience as the number of participants is limited. This year’s Forum will be hosted by the City of Pärnu and the University of Tartu, Pärnu College, in cooperation with the Policy Area Tourism in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Board, Enterprise Estonia and a group of like-minded partners and organizations.

Tourism stakeholder from around the Baltic Sea convene in Pärnu/Estonia from the 19-20 October 2016 to discuss the latest development trends in the region on transnational level. The 9th BSTF 2016 is the consistent continuation of annual meetings between tourism stakeholder in the Baltic Sea region. This year, it will be dedicated to the thematic areas of seasonality and sustainability. Two selected issues that have and will have considerable impact on the future development of the region. The Forum will provide valuable insights into the main challenges the region is facing with regards to both topics. Experts from different sectors will highlight latest trends and the efforts that are already under way to extend the season and make tourism more sustainable in the region.

The conference will both provide profound keynotes and peer-to-peer workshop sessions to support target oriented exchange of good practices and to foster the creation of new ideas and cooperative initiatives in the Baltic Sea region. The Tourism Networking Village, an Exhibition of Baltic Seaside resorts called “PEOPLE, STREETS, HOUSES”, the cultural programme with pre- and post-convention tours will complement an exciting programme during the 9th Baltic Sea Tourism Forum in 2016.
